Sherry is a fortified wine, made in and around the town of Jerez in Spain

Also you will find Croft Original one of the most popular sherries in England. It is a pale cream sherry producing a blend of the pale dryness of quality Fino Sherry with the added depth and body of a full cream.

The sherry is produced by Croft. The company was formed by John Croft in 1678 and assumed the name of Croft in 1736. They began to produce sherry in 1970 with the debut of Croft Original. They are currently part of the Diageo group.

Sherry differs from other wines because of how it is treated after fermentation. After fermentation is complete, it is fortified with brandy. Because the fortification takes place after fermentation, all natural Sherries are dry; any sweetness is applied later.
